We hike up to 8 km per day and in the summer months we hike to the river (canine safe area of course!) and spend the day hiking along the river bank! In the winter, we have the option to go for a long hike or play in a our new heated studio with a variety of ages and breeds of dogs! There's a lot of fun and socialization but also lots of rules & boundaries that we enforce to keep all dogs happy and safe. As a professional certified trainer,  I work with each dog when they initially arrive and see where their focus & obedience level is at before they are off leash, if at all. We then go from there.  Socialization is VERY important for a dog throughout their entire lives and we like to help with the proper way of having a social pet!  Basic obedience is included during their time here at daycare to also keep everyone safe & happy.

 

During the evening, after their dinner, we also go in and out for pee breaks and a short walk down the  1 mile driveway before bed! Every dog is exhausted from a big day of play and mental and physical activities. So Howlin' Good Times is a very quiet boarding facility compared to the rest! 

We do have newly built kennels that are very clean, cozy and large where our canine friends sleep and eat only!!! The dogs really appreiciate this time of the day to rest and have a moment to relax.

 

We've accepted clients from all over Canada and each and every client always return for a visit. While the client is on vacation or reorganizing their life, the dog(s) get a lot of obedience and mental & physical stimulation! I've had dogs stay up to one year and some clients have booked our services for 3 years, visiting every other month for a month at a time!! So no stay is too big or too small, your dogs are welcome and myself and my staff would love to work & play with them!!
